At YAS, we take your privacy seriously. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our app. This policy was updated on 20 September 2026.

Amplitude analytics does not receive your selected screenshot or the text recognized from it.
After you have an active subscription and give consent, YAS recognizes text from only the screenshot you selected. Recognition happens on your device. The image itself and its photo metadata never leave your device.
Only the extracted plain text is sent securely to the self-hosted YAS backend, then to OpenRouter and a qualifying zero-retention model provider to generate replies. YAS requires zero data retention and denies provider data collection for every AI request. The submitted text and generated replies are not used to train AI models.
YAS processes this text in memory for the request and does not write it to persistent storage or application logs. Because the content is not retained, there is no stored screenshot text or generated reply to delete. Your consent choice is stored locally on your device.
